Hex counts people, measures how long spaces are occupied and watches the air they breathe — continuously, anonymously, and on your own network. GDPR compliant: no personal images are ever recorded. No badges. No app. Nobody watching a screen.
What it does
Every Hex works out what it is seeing on the device itself and sends numbers, not pictures. Fit them where the question is — a doorway, a desk bank, a meeting room, a queue — and the answers start arriving within the minute.

How it works
A Hex determines how many people are present and discards the frame immediately. Nothing is stored, streamed or transmitted but a count and a timestamp — which is why it can sit in a meeting room, a washroom corridor or a bank branch without anyone having to think twice.
A wide or standard lens covers a doorway, a desk bank or a whole meeting room from a single ceiling or wall mount.
Choose between PoE or battery. The sensors are magnetic and are very quick to deploy. Plug in a Mothership and the system is working straight away.
A local Mothership on your own network receives every reading over Wi-Fi or wired MQTT and keeps working if the internet drops.
Readings roll up into occupancy, footfall and environmental history you can chart, export or pull straight into your own systems.
Privacy by design
The strongest privacy guarantee is not a policy — it is an architecture in which the personal data never exists in the first place. A Hex produces counts.
The hardware
A 105 mm hexagon in soft white that reads as a smoke detector. There is a choice of white, grey or black colours. Wall or ceiling mount, wired or fully wireless, and a battery variant for places where running a cable is out of the question.

The digital twin
Counts alone are hard to picture. Drop them onto the building and a working day becomes obvious — who comes in and when, which rooms carry the load, and which ones sit empty while people queue for a desk somewhere else.
Heat map
Where a floor plan answers “what happened where”, the heat map answers “where is the pressure”. Watch the warm spots move from the meeting rooms to the desks to the kitchen and back as the day runs.
The insight
Fourteen report views come as standard — utilisation carpets, weekly profiles, peak-versus-mean, under-used spaces, footfall, air quality and trend analysis. Every one filters by site, floor or single room, and exports as CSV or over the API.
Every quarter-hour of every day. Darker means busier — the shape of a working week at a glance.
Arrivals above the line, departures below. The building filling and emptying, hour by hour.
